I'k comin' home

I recall of you night and twenty-four hour period

Of the things, of the fun

Simply one thing I want to do

Come home, come home

Question: Are humans the only animal that cries?

Answer: All mammals make distress calls such as when the immature are separated from their mothers, and all land animals are technically capable of producing tears to lubricate their eyes. That's not necessarily crying, notwithstanding.

Charles Darwin claimed that animals such as the Indian elephant or macaque monkey could cry emotional tears, and some pet owners claim their dogs can cry in this way. Additionally, in 2014 an elephant named Raju who was badly abused for fifty years and kept on a concatenation along with spikes was photographed crying when he was rescued. When he was transferred to an animal sanctuary out of damage'south way, let'southward merely say that his "optics leaked water." I phone call that crying!

Mod scientists, however, claim that humans are the ONLY animals that cry as a class of emotional expression.

Question: Is there a song that starts with the lyrics, "I cried a tear"?

Answer: Admittedly. In that location's a song by the phenomenal Canadian developed contemporary/soft stone/country crossover creative person called "You Needed Me" (1978). It reached #1 on the mainstream pop chart. Here are the initial lyrics and the link to the song on YouTube:

I cried a tear, y'all wiped information technology dry out

I was confused, you cleared my mind

I sold my soul, you bought it back for me

And held me upwardly and gave me dignity

Somehow you needed me...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6nfpxZ2Nz4

Question: Is there an sometime country song called "Tomorrow Will Weep"?

Respond: Are you sure the title is correct? There is an old country song with a proper noun that is very similar: "I'll Cry Tomorrow" by Larry Stewart (1993) institute hither: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K1bp2-QKiA

Question: What vocal has the lyrics, "Tears from the eyes of heaven and they're washing over me?"

Respond: I suspect that yous may be misremembering the lyrics slightly, but that'due south pretty common. I searched multiple lyrics databases and did not find a song that precisely matched what you recall. I think I know what song you're thinking of, nevertheless. "Holes in the Floor of Sky" by Steve Wariner (1998) describes a deceased loved one whose tears from heaven pour downwards, and the loved i watches from in a higher place. Hither are the like sounding lyrics:

There are holes in the floor of Heaven

And she's watching over you and me.

There are two reasons I believe this is the correct song: 1) its lyrics are remarkably like and ii) the lyrics you lot recall about heaven having eyes doesn't quite brand sense.

Question: What vocal has the lyrics, "all that's left is a bitter tea"?

Answer: In extensively searching for your lyrics, I didn't observe the exact wording, "all that's left is a bitter tea." However, in that location were nearly 12-xiv songs with the words "bitter tea," predominantly past lesser known artists. However, notation, that Elvis Costello has a song chosen "Speak Darkly My Angel" and it has the lyrics, "And all that's left is biting barren greed." I'chiliad wondering if this is perhaps what you remember you heard?

Question: What vocal has the lyrics, "How many tears through the years must I weep"?

Answer: There is a sound called, "How Many Tears" from the Martin Guerre Soundtrack (1999) that includes these lyrics. That's all I found based on the information provided.

Hither are the lyrics:

Oh Lord, I'm non the 1 to blame!

Oh Lord, why must I alive in shame?

Each night, I light a candle in his proper noun.

How many tears through the years can I cry?

How many prayers to the Lord must I attempt?

Nonetheless, the hurting, tears at my broken heart.

Sometimes I feel, I was cursed from the start.

All I could promise, all I could encounter.

And so full of promise, each day reaching out before me.

Once, now at that place'southward nothing, lost as if you never saw me.

How many tears through the years tin can I cry?

How many tears until my heart runs dry?

Through the fights, that a adult female must fight.

Merely to practise what she feels must exist right.

Sometimes I wonder if someone hears

Why must I live through so many tears?

Question: Is at that place a song from the late 1970s or early 1980s with the lyrics, "I'm laughing on the exterior just I'grand crying on the inside?"

Respond: A popular song get-go published in 1946, "Laughing on the Outside (Crying on the Inside)" has been recorded by multiple artists through the years (charting multiple times), including Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Kaye, and his Orchestra, and The Four Aces. Here are the lyrics:

The crowd sees me out dancing

Carefree and romancing

Happy with my someone new

I'1000 laughing on the outside

Crying on the inside

'cause I'm notwithstanding in love with you

They see me night and daytime

Having such a gay fourth dimension

They don't know what I become through

I'm laughing on the exterior

Crying on the inside

'crusade I'yard still in honey with you

No one knows information technology's just a pose

Pretending I'one thousand glad we're autonomously

And when I cry, my eyes are dry

The tears are in my heart

My darling, can't nosotros make up?

E'er since our breakdown

Make believe is all I do

I'thou laughing on the exterior

Crying on the inside

'cause I'g still in love

I am nevertheless in honey with yous

kallini - Sometimes you merely have to permit the tears out, or the force per unit area threathens to forcefulness their way out, and that would be worse, very unpredictable every bit to time, place, and object. Yous sound like an inordinately gifted and educated lady who tin can connect many concepts that for others might seem a attain. I understand the connectivity part.

Suzie from Carson City on June 13, 2017:

F.A. I feel similar my comments for your great "song" hubs may exist repetitious, but I tin only say what they are! A walk down memory lane, educational and so much entertainment! Thank you for each work of art!

kallini2010 from Toronto, Canada on June 12, 2017:

I have mixed feelings. On the one manus, I don't cry all that easily, only well upwardly at absolutely non-important moments - I approximate it'due south a disorder (non my fault, they put me on drugs and messed up my head for good).

So, yes, depending on I don't know what I can be a Drama Queen and I liked "Angels Cry" (perhaps I merely like the melody and voices), I tin exist completely cold. When I cry is when I picket movies, but, of form, it has to be a very, very well-acted distressing moment.

Last fourth dimension I was weeping (every time I watched that scene) at "State of war and Peace". It gave a me a expert crying outburst for a year.

Information technology's interesting how music affects us. I know a song which is more often than not positive and optimistic, but information technology begins with "You will cry, like an autumn pelting you will cry, yous'll go away and never forgive yourself..." (very conveniently in Italian, of course), just then everything will change...

Information technology was my crying song dorsum in 2012. And and then I watched an Italian (moving picture noir) which is "one time seen never forgotten" and that vocal was one of the central themes. Put together - the vocal and the picture - have such an effect...

and however, others would say "What'southward the big deal?"

FlourishAnyway (writer) from Usa on June 12, 2017:

Linda, Thanks for the kind kudos. I haven't run out of themes all the same! My goal is 100 song hubs then we'll run across where that takes me. It may exist time to switch gears at that point, not sure. Have a wonderful week.

Tears rolled last calendar week at a graduation celebration and I don't even have a graduate. I will side by side year, all the same. My hubby simply gave me one of those "suck it upwardly" looks. "Tears in Heaven" is my favorite! Sometimes I cry because I will exist feeling sentimental or nostalgic, or I will run across or hear about someone being sad, or hurt, and so I volition cry. I demand to drinkable more water so I don't become dehydrated!

I would also add together Aerosmith'south "Cryin'" to the list, in add-on to their rendition of "Weep Me a River." And an oldie merely goodie I tin still sing by centre is The Everly Brothers "I'll Do My Cryin' in the Rain."
